ControlWorks has suspended the sales of our Roku Labs Soundbridge M500/M1000/M200/R1000 module.
The current architecture of the module requires that we poll the Soundbridge full time in order to keep the module synced with the Soundbridge. This is required since Roku Labs has yet to implement their "subscription" commands. Should Roku make this part of the protocol functional it would allow us to remove a substantial amount of the polling logic. This constant polling has proven to lockup the Soundbridge at times. In the future should Roku Labs opt to add this to their firmware then ControlWorks would evaluate whether to release a new version of the module for sale.
ControlWorks will continue to support our current Licensee's of the module.
An integration alternative to the Soundbridge can be found in our SlimDevices SqueezeBox and Transporter module.
