Your clients count on you for a detailed and exact quote prior to the commencement of any project. We believe that you should be able to rely upon your programming and specification resources for the same level of commitment. Therefore, we reply to each request for quotation with a detailed, project-specific contract.

You can expect the following with every quotation:

  • A detailed description of our interpretation of your system functionality statement. This allows the dealer to review, up front, exactly how we think the system is intended to function. This often helps to avoid disagreement upon reaching the job site on exactly how the system was to perform.
  • A list of project specifics, including the procedure for user interface review, the qualifications of the engineers who will be assigned to the project and the expectations we will have of the dealer's preparation and cooperation. We will also clearly state any areas of work that we are not quoting. Again, this can help avoid misunderstandings regarding software for non-Crestron subsystems or other system configuration tasks.
  • A commitment to provide full, well-commented source code to the dealer upon final payment. A commitment is also made not to disseminate the source code to other parties directly, including your client.
  • Rates for additional work or change orders for major changes in the project's architecture.

We understand that the quotation of systems is often a time-critical process, and work to turn quotations around as quickly as possible. In most cases, project-specific contracts are returned either the same day, or the following business day. If you are under a time crunch, please let us know up front so we can work to accommodate your situation.
