Interested dealers and consultants can submit requests for quotation on projects in a variety of manners. Most dealers feel most comfortable beginning the process with a phone call, explaining the nature of the project and general expectations. It is then necessary to submit as much documentation on the system as is possible. The more information the dealer provides, the easier it is for ControlWorks to determine the exact nature of the functionality of the system. The fewer questions we have about the system, the more confident we are in the amount of time it will take to develop and deploy. Less uncertainty about time commitment leads to a lower contract price... You get the picture.

The folllowing materials will assist us with rapidly preparing an accurate quote:

  • A complete list of the equipment to be controlled. Be thorough and complete, and be sure you are sending the actual model number to be used for this particular project.
  • An expected date for onsite deployment.
  • Your client's "drop dead" date.
  • Desired deadline for receipt of quote.
  • A written functionality statement or scope of work, explaining in detail how your system requires the control system to behave.
  • The Project name and the address of the job site.
  • Contact information for your design engineer, or the installation technician who is most familiar with the system.
  • Any connectivity or signal flow drawings that have been created by your organization. We work comfortably in d-tools, Visio and AutoCAD.
