There are two modules included in this bundle.
The IP V3 module supports Ethernet based control of DVRs from Dedicated Micros. Currently these models include the new Digital Sprite 2, ECO9 and ECO16. It is important to note that Dedicated Micros has two versions of the Digital Sprite that they call "new" and "old". The IP V3 module supports only the new version. The new version can be identified by its silver front panel with a black insert in the middle of the faceplate where the camera controls are located. It should be noted that the IP module does not support all of the legacy MCI commands. See the Feature Set Comparison PDF below. Your DVR must be running Dedicated Micros firmware version 4.3. The SD line and the ECO4 are not supported by this module.
IP V3 Module Features:
- Select screen modes such as full, quad and PIP.
- Telemetry functions such as pan, tilt, speed, zoom, focus, wipers and aux relays (not available on the ECO series)
- Store, recall, and clear camera telemetry presets (not available on the ECO series)
The MCI Serial V9 module supports serial based control of the older model Dedicated Micros DVR's. These models include the old Digital Sprite 2, D4 and BX2. Serial control of these DVR's requires the use of a DM PN CC01A C-Bus to RS-232 adapter. It is important to note that Dedicated Micros has two versions of the Digital Sprite that they call "new" and "old". The MCI V9 module supports only the old version. This version can be identified by its all silver front panel. Your DVR must be running Dedicated Micros firmware version 3.1.
MCI Serial V9 Module Features:
- Select live or decode mode
- Select cameras on the main monitor output
- Select cameras on the spot monitor output
- Select sequencing for the spot monitor output
- Activate and deactivate main monitor sequence mode, set dwell time for sequencer, select cameras for inclusion in sequence
- Select screen mode (e.g. full, quad, PIP, etc.)
- Telemetry functions (e.g. pan, tilt, speed, zoom, focus, wipers, aux relays)
- Store, recall, and clear camera telemetry presets
- Activate and deactivate camera autopan and patrol
- Launch event lists, browse for events in the log, filter results for certain cameras and types of events, etc.
- Playback control from time and date stamps
- Adjust playback speed
